What is a Dynamic Website

Blue Question Mark

A Dynamic Website is a site that can automatically reprogram itself to display different information, graphics and other content based on a user's response; the webpages are interactive as opposed to static, usually using a database to store the information the webpage accesses then selects the information and programming code needed to re-create itself by processing pre-written scripts. When this processing is done by a central server away from the user (client's) machine this is referred to as a Server-side Dynamic Website. A single web page can be dynamic while the rest of the site is static or be dynamic with completely different code no matter the status of the rest of the website as a whole. Diskery is, and always has been, a Dynamic Web Site.
